Costa Rica: Waterfall Jumping

The following footage is proof that:

a) I don't give in to peer pressure.

b) I am a complete chicken when it comes to combining water with rocks and extreme heights on a Tican farmer's property.

c) I love the thrill of adventure, but realized that the height Mr. Marvelous and our Surf instructor--the one who guided us through a cow pasture to get to the falls, and the one who jumps after me--wanted me to jump from, was so scary to me that it made my muscles ache with fear.

d) repeated jumps from this middle pool of water--on this wonderfully warm afternoon--left much opportunity for the force of the water to pop my little nose ring gem right out.

You are one brave chickadee. First, the whitewater rafting. Next, the jumping off a cliff. And lastly, showing yourself in a bikini on your own blog. You are an inspiration, girl! (Of course, if I had your bod, I'd be emailing a pic of me in a bikini to every email address I could find, but that's besides the point.)

OH Tiff, you're MUCH braver than me! I don't think I could've done that unless my child had just slipped in. That's when a Mama can do ANYTHING!

Loving all of the vacation posts.

That's awesome! I was just like that in Hawaii.....except the cliff was way higher and there were dangerous waves crashing and I was a much bigger chicken than you......because I didn't jump.

Your vacation looked awesome! My sister in law and brother in law were just in Costa Rica and they loved it!! You look in great shape! OK that was a lot of randomness. :)

Yeah! That's my Tiff.

And I liked the empty look of your gem-less ring. Really. It's going to be all the rage soon.

Hope you are having a blast being a nomadic family. Come to see us if you get exceedingly bored. It only takes 28 hours to get here, you know.

xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo!

You became part of our homeschool curriculum today. We were talking about Costa Rica and I said "I have a friend who jumped off a waterfall there!" So the girls ran to the computer to see- they think you are very cool. And they want to jump off a waterfall someday. ;)
