sharing cars, boyfriends and shoes

It's amazing, really.

The rate at which these two grow is astounding:

They sure didn't stay 6 days old for long. (Despite my thoughts of the situation at the time--being pretty certain we'd have twin newborns, a 1 year old, and a 2 year old forever!)

It's like I woke up this morning to find that our ultrasound babies (A and B) had turned into full speed running, kiddie pool splashing, chapstick loving, toothbrush hoarding, baby doll swaddling, sandal adoring, mama and dada snuggling "big" little girls.

How can that be?
It's all happened so quickly, that these two little punkin' doodles go from their first birthday:
...to their second. And, even though I'm known to declare each new stage they enter my "favorite," I wouldn't mind if they slowed it all down a bit.
Because before you know it, they'll have moved on from sharing their crib, clothes and popsicles, to sharing cars and boyfriends shoes.

Happy 2nd Birthday--tomorrow--Norah (L) and Hazel!

Happy Birthday, little ladies! Little ladies, who (whom?) I've only seen in fuzzy jammies by the light of the hall light. Snuggly bugs...growing up too fast...

Beautiful girls, they are.

Blessed are you.

Goodness, time does fly! If your girls are turning two tomorrow (WOW! Already?) then that means it's only a little over a month until MY little baby girl turns two. I'm not ready for her to grow up yet either! :)

Happy Birthday, Norah and Hazel. Hope you enjoy the polka dot bash!

Such great pictures of the twins! They do grow up so fast...and yet some days it seems like they won't ever conquer the next big step. I do miss those days when my kids (I don't have twins, mind you) were just learning something new and everyone was so excited!

I hope these next couple of days are filled with lots of love and fun and partying! And pictures!

Happy Birthday Norah and Hazel!

I was just thinking this morning that I wish I could stop Emma forever at this stage. Without the tantrums, of course. (She'll be 2 in September.) Happy Birthday to Norah and Hazel--they are adorable!

WOW! Two already?!?? Two is fun but you're right, it all goes so fast. My first "baby" will be fifteen this summer and my baby will be 5. sniff. While it's fun to be at the stage we can all do "big girl" girly things together- it's a little bittersweet.

Happy Birthday Girls - can't wait to see pics of the partyyyyyy!

ps. Had to delete the comment at first because (thank goodness) my daughter was reading over my shoulder and asked why I typed mating. I explained it was the code to leave a comment and she said "yeah but you typed it IN the comment" What?!?? That would explain why it took two tries to publish my comment. Needless to say I had to delete the first comment because people would wonder just WHAT kind of party you were planning on throwing. Who comes up with those verification words anyhow?!?? :)

Happy Birthday, sweet child, sweet sweet child
Happy Birthday, sweet child, sweet sweet child

that is me singing.....not stuttering

...first one for Norah, second one for Hazel. Or swap them out for who ever is closest to you.

Ya know, I am in awe with the miracle of creation of life...so the words cannot explain how I feel about twins/multiples.

We serve an awesome God...

Ohmigosh! So precious!!! And Tiff, I can't believe that you called them "punkin doodles." That's my nickname for my (not-so-little compared to yours) little one. Awwww. :)
