She "chalks" our world.

If you haven't noticed, 4under3's publishing company has slowed down a bit. At first, I liked to think it had something to do with our construction zone.* I imagined things would pick back up to posting every couple of days. But now I'm thinking otherwise.

*The zone that is nearly complete. All that is left is the tiling of the backsplash. I promise an extensive photo gallery right after the ribbon cutting ceremony. I promise. I'm sorry. Ok? I promise.

I don't know how it can be, but it seems as though nearly 2 year old twins have the capability to run in you two different directions at once. Last year at this time Norah & Hazel were barely moving. This year, at the end of the day, it's me who's barely moving.

It's so much fun though. The before-the-barely-moving part. And man do I think our 4underfeet are the cutest, sweetest, funniest children around.

Take today for an example.

We chalked. Like we always like to do.

And this snippet of Julia tracing Hazel makes me laugh. Not because of the bitty belly that's hanging out, or the memory of Hazel plopping her little body down on the driveway in hopes that Julia would notice and come over, but because of our spunky monkey's naked left foot. Would you believe me if I said I never even noticed that Hazel was missing a left shoe while we were outside? What kind of mom am I?

And this cracks me up too. What? You're not sure what exactly this is?

How about this? Does it look like my shadow flashing the peace sign? Tracing shadows is a favorite in Julia's world.

I'm telling ya, this girl can chalk.

To put it plainly, she chalks our world.

I love it....she's really getting her chalk on.

And I totally LOVE the one shoe deal....I think I would have nibbled on that those delicious little piggy wiggies.

On a side note, I walk around the house with one sock on just to drive my husband insane. He has this bizarre thing about one sock.

Is it my twisted mind or do you get a flash of a weird warped uncomfortable-ness seeing those body tracings? My kids and all their friends would make them all over our driveway and you can imagine what kind of crime scene it looked like! *shudder*I would make them wash it off as soon as possible and make them (all my boys) draw flowers, rainbows and puppy dogs instead. {Ahhh, that's better..the *shudder* is gone....back to my happy place}

OK, sorry to bring a morbid tone to this truly beautiful post....

rewind.rewind.rewind. Take doom-and-gloom foot out of mouth.

I think you are so blessed Tiffany......no, I know you are. And I know you know you are.

God is so good.

*slapping an AMEN high five to you*

Glad to see you back! I took my students out to chalk their spelling words and they had the best time too! Will is always losing a shoe and I also find myself wondering how long he went before I noticed:)

WE love chalkin' and shadows (mine is flashin' the peace sign over at my blog too) and I LOVE that picture of your girlies too. And I totally believe it about the shoe. I took all of my Christmas pics and thought they were great until later looking at them I noticed a hunk of mackie's hair going backlwards across her forehead. oh well.

Can't wait to see the new rooms!

Such a sweet post! I have missed your adorable take on the world lately, but I have been neglecting my own blog as well, so I totally understand. Can't wait to see your finished renovations, Tiff! :)

What a darling little chalker she is. How sweet that she outlined her little sis with the cute little toes.
I've missed you but have been very absent myself. Hope to see the after shots. After the ribbon cutting of course. :)

You may have been missing in the post department but I love following you on Twitter. So...I really haven't been missing that much after all. Maybe EVERYONE should be following your adventures while you're tweeting!

Anyway, very cute post. Love how Hazel just laid on out in hopes of getting some chalk time with Julia. How sweet is that?!

Chalk is such great fun! I found you through MckMama...and am enjoying your blog. No, I didn't read all of PC's questions, but your name caught my eye.

We don't have twins...nor four, but I have two sweet children.

Your About Me was fun to read. I think we have lots in common.

Your posts are fun, too!
