Futhermore, would you believe me if I told you that while driving between the two meal drop-offs--that I twittered of this morning--I had to slam on my breaks, jet into a nearby college parking lot, and finger swipe an ice cube from my 2 1/2 year old's throat? After which, he threw up all over me, himself, and his beloved Twins hat. The latter seemed to be the biggest letdown for him.
-----And would you believe me yet one more time if I told you that by watching the little girls hug, kiss, snuggle, tackle, play with, and laugh at eachother, it makes me wish I was a twin too?

here's hoping the vinegar and garlic cures whatever ails you, and if not, well, at least they'll smell ya coming a mile away!
the sickies must be going around...i am home today with my olivia...
I've never heard of garlic in the ears before--what is the purpose? I hope it works for ya!
How scary with the ice cube! I had to pull off the road in a similar fashion when Jonah was two--because he had swiped a toothpick at a restaurant and gotten it stuck in his open mouth. The more he panicked, the more he wanted to close his mouth...thus driving in the toothpick and causing more pain. Gotta love those two year olds! :)
And finally, the twin thing? I totally wanted to be a twin growing up. Okay, so I still kinda wish I was one....or at the very least had some! ;) I'll just have to live vicariously through you and yours!
Oh dear...garlic in the ears...what's wrong?
Love the ice cube story...lord I think we live each others lives with these small children :) So happy there's another of me out there!
Hugs!
I believe the throwing up. And I definitely believe the twin thing. But I can't imagine believing a reason for putting garlic in your ears!!
Garlic is wonderful. And just as versatile as our good friend ACV. I've used mullen garlic oil in my ears before, and I really think it helps. Way to go, my friend!
I watch my 2 1/2 year old twins and some days wish I had one too. There is something about having someone who is just like you (for the most part)...always there for you! As for my Mom exponent..soon to be three. Having just one baby will be new to me!
Ice cubes are scary. The worst I ever had was a trip to ER to have a french fry removed from a tiny nose.
I don't know what your symptoms are, but here's my prescription: Zinc lozenges (like Cold-Eeze), Naked Pomegranate juice with blueberry or Zola Acai juice (I don't work for any of these people - just have found them to be the best), and GALLONS of hot green tea. Add to that some extra Vit C (it acts like an antihistamine) in orange or grapefruit juice or pill form if you have to, 3 doses of Echinicea a day, and you'll be perfect by Saturday!
You are too funny with the garlic! I can always set a newspaper cone on fire in your ear, if you still have a problem tomorrow. That's what my mom did when I was younger, it really works! That Luke! Good thing you noticed.
yes, yes, and yes- although the first one baffles me.
The suspense is riveting lady! The twit about the raw apple cider vinigar and now the garlic cloves in your ears! What in goodness name are you doing??
And aside from the garlic...the other two...from another momma of 4under3 (at one time) I would totally belive you!
Ice scares me....although vomit does as well.
I've done garlic and oil in my little ones ears for ear infections. What's yours for??
hope you guys feel better soon!
