UPDATED: I believe I failed to clarify that the following spoonful was consumed solely and completely by me.
ORIGINAL POST:
Some days, this:
helps mute two crying 16 month olds, that seem to sympathize with eachother way more than I wish they would. Because lately, the girls seem to feel eachother's pain together.
Don't get me wrong, if someone is sad, I immediately put on my doctor hat and roll in to the rescue. But this morning, I pulled out every soothing tactic I had, seemingly falling short of complete restoration for Norah and Hazel.
There were tears, drippy noses, crying, red faces, and a dazed and confused mama who wanted to stop the madness. And she did, with this:
all by herself.
Thank goodness for simple pleasures.

Oh good job, its never too early to teach em about chocolate-peanut butter therapy.
And sympathy crying, AAUUGH! Drives me crazy! Sometimes I feel like just joining in.
Oh, I hate these kind of days. Now that the girls are older it is easier because they can talk and try to express their frustrations. I remember many a day where it was non-stop crying. If they both were not crying at least one always was.
Hang in there! As you know the crying just turns to whining as they get older. That's our new thing! It is just a nerve-wracking. And I don't know about your house but they whine way more to me as opposed to their Dad.

oops, the last comment somehow got published twice and I have no idea how to delete one. Feel free to do so if you know how.
You had one of those mornings too! Seriously is there a brometric issue or some stars that are aligning or a lunar something???? Both my neighbor and I are also pulling our hair out one by one today! Great idea though...just wish I had the complicated ingredients to complete your amazing recipe! I guess I will have to figure out my own....I'll update later!
Oh wow..one of those days! I feel your pain...and what better way to drown the pain than with..... chocolate and peanut butter. Although I hear if you start before 5 p.m. and you have more than two scoops, there may be an addiction issue.... ;)
Ya know sometimes a little pb and chocolate is exaclty what you need! Now I am craving it too!
Oh my goodness. I so did not need to see that picture and add one more thing to my list of things that I shouldn't be eating!!
Oh well...it looks yummy and I will be giving this a try sometime soon.
I hope it helped :)
Oh my that looks SO good!!!! I am so relate to what you are saying!!! and totally am right alongside you!
Think I'll have to try your trick :)
YUMMMMMMY!

Hi Tiff,
Sorry you had a rough day. Hope all the colors of the rainbow made you feel better.
Love,

I'm pretty sure those beautiful colors are fruit. Looks perfectly healthy to me. Protein in the peanut butter and everything! Just what the doctor ordered!

I bet everyone has a simple pleasure. Mine...a bowl of sugar cereal that I eat all by myself. The kids don't even know we have sugar cereal. That's because it's only for their mommy on these kind of days.
my favorite is finally getting to indulge in something like that for a fleeting moment, and one of the kiddos busting your solo party! gotta love that!
lol- I am reaing it after the clarification- Although I'm sure the twins will learn about chocolate and peanut butter therapy in due time.
:)
Mmmm....yummy! I've never had a spoonful of goodness quite like that, but I'm logging that idea in the back of my head. I'm sure I'll need it one of these days very soon! :)
Love the finger nails, by the way! Cute, cute, cute!
Just a spoonful of sugar does make it all better. :)
Chocolately goodness. Yep works for me. Even better with a chaser of something with a little kick. ;)
YUM! 16 months to 2 years is a hard age, you should stock up!
Oh my does that look delicious! Do you think if I eat that, then take a nap that my kitchen cupboards will be painted by the time I awake?? I'll try it.
Hope your weekend is better! I love your little gift-giving idea!
