While the kids engage in amusement upstairs (in their rooms or out in the loft) I usually play a favorite cd of mine on Julia's radio for them to listen to.
I love having music playing in the background during my day, so I assume they must too.
Today was Passion's Our Love is Loud. As Chris Tomlin was singing "Enough," I walked in to Julia and Luke having their own jam session. Now...my definition of a jam session would merely consist of...music...and maybe a radio to listen to it from, although not always since our voices seem to suffice, but that was not "enough" for our two little songbirds today. After emptying Julia's labeled toy buckets, flipping them over as to operate as their center stage, they climbed aboard, grabbed hands, and started singing and swaying in one accord.
As you can see, our little "love-overflowith" daughter is adoring her music.brother.life and must grit her teeth and squeeze her OWN ear (and not her brother's...or she'd drive him straight off stage and back to his dressing room) to calm her little passion nerves down.

SO cute! Two little worship leaders!
Chris Tomlin would be proud! (and God is!!)
Oh, so great.
Love the tights.
Love that I can see the photo on the red bucket...that you mentioned before...showing what goes in that bucket.
So, what DOES go in that bucket? Looks like....white socks, stuffed Winne the Pooh dolls, and a monkey torso wearing a muscle shirt?
That's seriously what the photo looks like to me. But, I'm thinkin' that probably not what it is. Or...
Let's see....
It's the puppet bucket so there's a short-haired, long-earred dog, a yellow quacking duck that actually quacks 3 or 4 different children songs as you open and close its mouth, and a "yee-hawing" blonde cowgirl who is holding on to a stick. It must be for her country pole dance.
You're so funny...
but somehow, this comments-conversation, has went downhill, fast.
From worship leading to pole dancing?
Yikes.
I love the picture of Julia dancing, it's a classic! Our kids love to do air bands too, I wish I could capture it on video, I always forget!
Love this! Don't you wish you could just bottle up these moments and keep them forever? Well- I guess, by blogging, in many ways you are!! Your kids are adorable!
So sweet! I love how organized you are too by the way!!
That made my morning! So pure and sweet.
