OMG Tiff!, I had to come out of google-reader hiding to say, SHEESH!
How "wild" is that? I've never seen anything like it!
oh my gosh, there are SO many!
Girl... to me, wild turkey tastes just like porkchops! I love the stuff - my hubby is a hunter (saves me a massive amount on meat products) and we are all about turkey and deer meat!
Love it! Apparently you are the wild turkey whisperer!
I've seen that many before. But it was in the middle of nowhere and they were crossing the road to get to the other side. hehe
(S)o........did you get out your (s)hotgun?
Oh my!! My husband would be in hog heaven!!! I mean TURKEY heaven!
This is awesome. It gives a whole new meaning to the word 'locavore'...seriously, girl, you could live for a year on these! Love it!
And thanks for your exceedingly [s]weet comments a moment a go.

Ha!
What the ?!??
My friend Dawn in California- recently posted a similar pic. Poor things are getting run out their natural habitat.
No way Tiff! Honestly I can't even count how many feathered friends you have outside your door! WOW. Do you neighbors have them too?? Never had Wild Turkey but Tom goes Turkey hunting every spring in Western SD. Intersting! Do the kids love them??
Oh my goodness! Look at them all!
Are you kidding me?!? I would be inclined to run outside and do my very best "Gobble, gobble!" Are they hiding at your place until after Thanksgiving?
wow...that is crazy...is this a normal occurence?
eewwwww!!! Do they taste like chicken? And did they leave "gifts" behind? Sheriff neighbor = gun. Call him. Free dinner.
hee hee! funny!
our son's preschool class will have a visit from a live turkey from a turkey farm this week...but...well, he can't go back to the farm after that...would be considered contaminated. so they are donating to a processing local butcher...and the following week for the kids' thanksgiving feast...well, you get the idea. they are, yes, having turkey, if ya know what i mean!
ps no kids will be any the wiser
I would love to gooble one up!! Gosh, deer in the back yard and gooblers in the front. Do you live on a reservation?
Sheesh! Is that seriously your yard?!
Gobble. Gobble.

Those look fairly tame and unafraid of people! I did eat wild turkey once and it was wonderful! I was expecting it to be horrible, but no, it was good.
Whoa! Get ready for Thanksgiving!
