Girl... to me, wild turkey tastes just like porkchops! I love the stuff - my hubby is a hunter (saves me a massive amount on meat products) and we are all about turkey and deer meat!

No way Tiff! Honestly I can't even count how many feathered friends you have outside your door! WOW. Do you neighbors have them too?? Never had Wild Turkey but Tom goes Turkey hunting every spring in Western SD. Intersting! Do the kids love them??

our son's preschool class will have a visit from a live turkey from a turkey farm this week...but...well, he can't go back to the farm after that...would be considered contaminated. so they are donating to a processing local butcher...and the following week for the kids' thanksgiving feast...well, you get the idea. they are, yes, having turkey, if ya know what i mean!
ps no kids will be any the wiser

Those look fairly tame and unafraid of people! I did eat wild turkey once and it was wonderful! I was expecting it to be horrible, but no, it was good.
