That's so funny.
Well, I guess an ear is better than most parts!

I just love that she shows her excitement by grabbing ears...and not her ears, but someone elses!!

I was an ear grabber too! My younger brother wasn't all the fond of it either.

That is SO cute. Because I'm fairly new to your blog, does Julia do the "ear pulling" thing to Luke very often? If so, when did it start? Is it out of habit? Does she find it comforting? Just curious. That is just too cute.

Amanda,
Growing up I had the same ear fettish with my two younger brothers' ears. It carried over to my husband. Julia must have picked it up from watching me because I have never "grabbed" her ears.

So, yes, it's an act of endearment and it started around 16 months, as soon as Luke was born. She also, grits her teeth and usually says, "I love you, I love you, I loooooooove you" while she's doing it.

That's so funny that she grabs his ear! And that he didn't care. The boys have decided to start pulling each other's fraternal hair all the time.
In person - you could tell the difference. Next time you're in big Dallas I'll have to prove it to ya. I think our twins need to meet anyhow.

So funny! Does she do this other places? At home? The supermarket? Or only the Zoo?

Wow, Mck Mama. I didn't realize you needed a response to your questions so badly.

Yes, she does the ear "grabbing" everywhere. Everywhere as in, her carseat, the bathtub, the supermarket, while watching Dora chase around lost penguins, etc.
