Their sleep number is still: 2.

Norah (L) and Hazel at 15 months old, still feel as though sharing space equally in their crib is unnecessary.

We usually find them like this:

--leaving half of their crib empty--when we check on them before we hit the sack. It hasn't changed a bit since this and this.

I think we'll move them straight to a double bed when it's transition time.

They are just so precious. I've always wondered what it would be like to have a twin and feel that connected. I think it really is a neat bond God forms with twins!

So sweet :). And great that you never had to use more than one crib at a time! I currently have 2 cribs, 2 toddler beds, and a co-sleeper that Ingrid is now using. We will be giving the other crib back to my sis soon when Eliza and Ingrid graduate up.

I'm pretty sure you could fit at least 3 more babes in that crib.

When my sister was that age all I wanted to do was wake her up and play with her...I loved the feel of her pilly pajamas and her soft chubby hands...I remember it like it was yesterday.

Give them a smoochie from Auntie Leah.

couldn't you just snuggle right up with them!?

our four year old finds our bed in the middle of every night. every.night
i have to say i love snuggling with him though...and that is what he comes for!
i asked hubs if he thought getting him a body pillow for his bed would keep him in his own bed...he had a good point...he'd just drag it to our bed with him!
I do love cuddly kids!

My twins have toddler beds, and with very few exceptions, do the same thing. We can put them in separate beds, but when we go to check on them, they are snuggled up together. Oh, what a joy to be a twin!

I'm a little jealous. We had to separate our boys at about 8 months because they wouldn't leave each other alone! We all got much better sleep after they got their own space, though!

Aww that is too cute for words. I don't blame you - I think I'd the transition to a double too.

It's a good plan. My friends who were twins slept in a double bed together until middle school. They loved it. It was like a sleepover every night. I think all of their friends were a bit jealous. :)

I wish the boys still slept in the same crib.....then again, that would mean more sleepless nights and I don't want to go back. However, they are adorable when they're snuggled up together like that.
